Maribyrnong City Council is located approximately five kilometres from the heart of the CBD. The City is undergoing significant change in population growth, redevelopment, gentrification, and a transitioning economy is leading to an influx of new residents, businesses and opportunities. This change requires proactive and effective maintenance systems and services, to deliver significant amenity outcomes for our community.
Maribyrnong City Council's Operations and Maintenance Department is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead its Civil Works Section. Reporting to the Manager and leading a diverse in-house team and specialist contractors, you will be responsible for the effective coordination and timely delivery of high quality civil works maintenance, including Road Management Plan, (RMP), compliance, capital projects and asset protection services.
We are seeking a proven leader with the passion to be a key visionary and player in the development and delivery of civil maintenance services.
Your outstanding leadership and change management capabilities, and demonstrated experience in implementing an asset management approach, will see you applying best practice maintenance management and work scheduling systems to deliver highly responsive, customer-centric services.
