Maribyrnong City Council is undergoing significant change in population growth, redevelopment, and a transitioning economy is leading to an influx of new residents, businesses and opportunities. Maribyrnong is becoming a sought after residential area and a destination for foodies.

We have an exciting opportunity for a water and environmental professional to join Maribyrnong's City Places team as the Water Sensitive Urban Design Officer (WSUD).

We are seeking an energetic and professional individual who is passionate about water management, and capable of leading a coordinated approach to WSUD across multiple departments.

As the WSUD Officer, you will also provide specialist professional advice relating to Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) and Integrated Water Management (IWM) to staff, developers and the local community.

You will be responsible for preparing water management plans and WSUD guidelines, and educating and supporting various departments. You will be experienced in planning and delivering WSUD infrastructure, and highly skilled in project management.

You will join our experienced design team responsible for the urban design, active transport and open space functions of Council, and work closely with staff across the organisation to achieve quality results in a fast paced environment.
