The Opportunity
The People, Culture and Performance team are looking for two suitably experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) practitioners to join us in successfully implementing a bespoke business partner model within the organisation. This is an exciting time at Council and provides a great opportunity for experienced candidates to showcase their skills. Supported by the Coordinator Human Resources, these roles will also be responsible for a specialist Corporate HR portfolio and build strong relationships with their Directorate stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated, tailored, and professional HRBP support, guidance, and services to allocated Directorates of the organisation.
- Act as the first point of contact for managing the resolution of all generalist HR matters and inquiries through the provision of internal HR consultancy and advisory services.
- Responsible for at least one HR portfolio, including but not limited to Workforce Analytics and reporting (including Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion), and HR Operating Systems.
- Review and develop letters that reflect changes to an employee's workplace arrangements, including change of employment conditions, flexible working arrangements and secondments.
- Develop and review position descriptions, undertake classification assessments, provide remuneration advice, job analysis and recommendations.
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or related discipline or lesser formal qualifications with extensive experience in Human Resources.
- Demonstrated experience in managing generalist HR matters and inquiries through the provision of effective HRBP services.
- Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of contemporary HR policies, procedures, operating systems, and programs.
- Demonstrated personal integrity, exercise sound judgement, and discretion that result in effective and co-operative workplace behaviours and positive HR outcomes and practices.
