The Opportunity

The Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre (MAC) is seeking an appropriately qualified and suitably experienced Digital Marketing & Systems Officer to develop, design and implement the Centre's digital marketing presence to achieve successful business outcomes. In this role, you will also oversee the systems, hardware and infrastructure that support services, engagement, feedback and promotion to assist in the development of targeted facilities, programs and services for the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, design and coordinate all physical and digital marketing materials, working closely with Council's Communications team.
  • Ensure MAC Branding guidelines are up to date and adhered to at all times.
  • Prepare templates, communications and key messaging for the membership base.
  • Create and implement strategies to boost social media presence as well as managing MAC's positive presence on line.
  • Research and develop social media material, including filming and editing of photos and videos for marketing use.
  • Design and distribute the MAC E-News on quarterly basis.
  • Working with the Coordinator Centre Services oversee and implement a structured prospect, acquisition and membership retention strategy.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have the following:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing or a related area
  • Experience in coordinating digital marketing and promotion programs
  • Experience in design applications such as Adobe Creative Cloud package
  • Experience in configuring technology hardware and peripherals
  • Experience in writing, editing and proofreading content for digital channels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Senior First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
  • Resuscitation Certificate (HLTAID009)
  • Current Working with Children Check - Employment version.
  • No relevant criminal record found in a Police Check.
